• Thank you for a magnificent stay at your cabin. We were so comfy and cozy here and cooked up a storm with the fully equipped kitchen. Fantastic remote location set amongst the true beauty of nature.  Ware genuinely sorry to leave.  P.S.  Highlight was a bald eagle sighting.  With many thanks and best wishes.

• My husband and I found this amazing spot when we were trying to plan a last-minute weekend away. We wanted somewhere quiet where we could unwind, while being near hiking and other outdoor activity. This was the best of both! The cabin was super comfortable and clean, with a fantastic kitchen, comfy bed, and a beautiful property. Our dog loved running around the great yard, checking out the pond, and sitting with us on the porch overlooking the gorgeous fall colors. We just wished we could have stayed longer to use the fire-pit and to do more in the area! We will definitely be back!

• Lovely, quiet cabin in a very peaceful location. Our children enjoyed playing in the garden on the swing, and watching frogs and fish in the pond.

• The cabin was classic Catskills quaint. Nice porch and view. The hosts were responsive. Overall had a really nice stay.

• The cabin was perfect!  Great accommodations and the location was gorgeous!  We had a great time and will definitely like to come back.  The experience exceeded our expectations. Great fireplace, comfortable linens, nice movie/CD collection, etc.  Thank you!

• We had a great time here!  Came up with every intention of going out and being active but ended up so charmed by the house and views that we barely left!  Really enjoyed the woodstove and the beautiful night sky!  The DVD collection is great too!  We ve decided to make this a yearly getaway.  So long for now, see you next November!

• The cabin and the views are beautiful.  Would love to come back one day when it’s snowing too!! Although the sunny weather was perfect.  You can’t always guarantee weather like that in England   we only wish we could have brought the 4-footer across the pond because he would have loved it too!

• A lovely last minute Easter weekend complete with April showers spring peppers sang and daffodils and frogs!  We recommend an evening at Andes: Cha Cha Hut BBQ is behind the deli and a drink at the hotel.  Thanks for the no cell reception!

• Peace and Quiet and lots of it!  Warm cozy and beautiful.  Let it snow! Our two year old lab mix had the best time!

• We thoroughly enjoyed this quaint secluded relaxing cabin to get away to.  Such a nice escape from the hectic city!  Beautiful land. Simple clean warm cabin.  Really glad we came and so was our little Schnauzer

• So many good memories can’t write them all down!!  Sitting on the front porch watching Roxy going down the hill on her back.  Gazing up at thousands of stars satellites and space junk.  Watching the fire and burning the roof of my mouth with marshmallows.  Taking girls to a creek for afternoon dip and police talking to us.  Watching DVDs three times in a row on rainy day.  Afternoon nap under the shade of a tree.  Farmer s market on Saturdays horseback riding canoeing Alder Lake! 

• The kids particularly enjoyed the frogs and salamanders.  The adults liked watching movies when the kids were in bed!

• What a perfect way to start the new year; it may even become a yearly tradition if we’re lucky. We both agree, if we could build our dream vacation cabin this would be it exactly.  The only thing missing is our Malamute who will have to come next year to frolic in the snow with us!

• A relaxing escape from the city complete with sledding and warm fires.  A great little escape at a wonderful cabin. I hope to return!

• When we first stayed at One Happy Cabin for our anniversary in September my wife had hoped we’d be able to come back and enjoy other seasons here.  I surprised her with a weekend to celebrate my birthday here but never expected the first weekend in December to turn into a winter wonderland!  I was secretly hoping for an extra foot of snow which would have forced us to extend our stay.  Two seasons down many to go.

• What a perfect getaway for the two of us to rekindle our love.  Your quiet cozy cabin let us relax and enjoy nature.  Thank you for having such a lovely home.  We will be back!

• We had a wonderful stay!  The cabin is everything a cabin in the woods should be.  Peaceful and rustic with all the comforts of home!  Thanks for allowing pets.  We don’t really enjoy a vacation as much without the dog!! I don’t know how we re going to get our little girl  2 years in January out of the little bear chair!!  We even bought her a choo-choo like the one on the mantle. 

• Our 16^th Wedding anniversary couldn t have been more special.  From the moment we pulled up, to this sad moment we are about to leave your piece of heaven couldn t have been more right for us.  How lucky you are and how lucky are we that you share your beautiful home and property with others.  This is our first entry in your guest book and hopefully it won t be our last. 

• We truly enjoyed every minute spent at your cabin.  This land is so peaceful and exactly what we needed to restore our spirits.  You have a very special piece of the world here as I’m sure you know. 

• The kids and I had a glorious weekend! Jonathan, 3 years old, had a ball trying to catch the salamanders in your pond.  Ariana absolutely loved exploring with the telescope.  We hope to come again soon!

• We loved it!  It is very picturesque.  We really enjoyed the peace and quite and lounging around on the property with our doggies.  Our three favorite things: 1. fire pit.  2. seclusion. 3. Atmosphere in cabin.  We would definitely like to come back another time.

• It is truly One Happy Cabin!  We came for a long weekend to celebrate my husband s birthday with our three-year-old daughter and our three month old son AND our dog. Our favorites: My husband: proximity to Plattekill biking and the flat screen TV.  ME: the view from the porch and the whole vibe inside the cabin. Daisy: the bridge by the pond and the bear chair.  Freddy: the mountain air… he slept soooo well!

• We really enjoyed our weekend.  Went for a great hike nearby on the Dry Brook trail.  Walked in the stream and felt the cool water rushing on our feet.  We always see deer on your property and this time we even saw a mother with two young fawns. We spotted blue birds and red winged black birds among others.  The birdsong is so relaxing.  It seems we always miss the auction.  Seems they were on site somewhere again.  We recommend the Slow Down Cafe in Andes for local organic breakfast and lunch.  Cantina also in Andes was decent Mexican and great margaritas.  And Fancy Dinner at Peekamoose in Big Indian.  Best of all: the fresh air and nature

• The house is perfect and the property is amazing.  It was the perfect getaway for some city folk who are a little country at heart.  It was also paradise for our urban mutts.  We hope to visit again!

• We loved everything about your cabin.  It made for an amazing and very special first anniversary. Many thanks.
