• We had a very good week at Jason and Phyllis's Woodland Hideaway and especially appreciated their responsiveness, nice touches, and attention to detail. The excellent arrival instructions gave a hint to what we found: - the house was a good size, very comfortable, warm, and spotlessly clean when we arrived - it was well-stocked with essentials like spices, box of tissues in every room, and plenty of wood for the fire - the Wi-Fi was fast and very reliable - there was deep snow all around but the driveway had been plowed and the deck shoveled - the location is really quiet and great for seeing the stars There is plenty of good hiking a short drive away and, an extra bonus, the Union Distillery is just down the road in Arkville. Also, be sure to check out the "Foothills Shoe" store in Margaretville - they have a really good range of footwear.

• Fabulous stay!  We absolutely loved our stay at the Chipmunk Cabin! It was perfect for our family of 4 (2 little kids). Any concerns we had were promptly dealt with by Jason and Phyllis.

• My family and I stayed at The Meadows for our last ski weekend of the season. We stayed 3 nights. The house and property were great. Our experience couldn’t have been better. Dealing with Pine Hollow Lodging was great. From our original inquiry about renting a property all the way through our checkout the experience was perfect. They keep you very informed and are so thorough. It is really appreciated to work with people that go that extra mile all the time. I would highly recommend both the house as well as Pine Hollow Lodging to anyone. I look forward to renting from them again in the future.

• Spectacular property! Spectacular views! Super clean, gorgeous log home set in 10 acres of woods, with an indoor fireplace, huge picture windows, and was perfect for our group of 9. The kitchen is clean and well stocked, with helpful labels so that we didn’t have to search for utensils and pots etc. Delightful and whimsical art collections out this property over the 5-star threshold! Definitely returning

• We had a great time at Jason and Phylis’s place. It was only 15 minutes from Belleayre. The living room has a beautiful floor to ceiling stone fireplace. The kitchen was perfectly stocked with everything you need. The view is beautiful especially on a clear day. The kids loved the ping pong table and game room. Perfect getaway! 

• Had a great long weekend at the Barn! The pictures really don't do this place justice. It was bigger, nicer, cozier, and warmer than I was even expecting. We cooked a few meals and the kitchen was equipped with anything you might need. They also had books, puzzles and a ton of TV subscriptions. Great location - very private but close to a lot of nearby towns and shopping. Jason and Phyllis also provided a ton of great recommendations for shopping, eating, and emergency services. There were a good amount of house rules to follow so just be sure to read those before check-in and when you depart. Overall, we had a great experience and cozy vacation!

• comfortable house which has a charm. love the decorations of old ski stuffs. warm hospitality and the view was amazing. very clean and there was everything you need in the house. we enjoyed skiing at Belleayre, 10 min+ away from the house, and there is cute small local supermarket on the way. we had a great time. thank you!

• Comfortable, airy, well-equipped space set in a beautiful location with a fantastic view. Good communication with Jason and Phyllis, the hosts.

• We had a great experience. The home was super clean and within a 5 min drive to Belleayre. The owners were so accommodating. Would rent again for sure.

• We had a great time at the house, very well equipped, warm and view was amazing. it was close to the village as well as the pool. It snowed almost every day so next time we have to come in a four wheel drive.

• Fantastic house and we had an amazing stay. Completely renovated and well laid out and well appointed. Had everything we were looking for and was a very good size. We played board games (provided) every night by the fire. Beds and sofa were super comfortable. Entire house was extremely clean. On a very quiet street. Very close to Belleayre. WiFi was excellent (had at least 6 devices on it and both wife and I worked remotely while kids played on iPads). Also, although I only had one bar, I never had issues with phone call quality (at least according to those we were on the phone with - we have Verizon Wireless). Note that the local area, especially on the roads, do not have good cell reception. Really look forward to staying again! 

• The Two Brothers cabin was amazing! Great for a multi-family ski-weekend. Jason was very responsive, had the plow come to cleanup the road the morning after a surprise snowfall to ensure we could get to the lifts on-time. Can’t wait to go back!

• We had a wonderful stay. The cabin was beautiful in a convenient location to skiing. The cabin was also thoughtfully furnished and equipped with everything we needed for our stay.

• Perfect quiet escape. It was our first time in the Catskills and we enjoyed the town, skiing at Belleayre (buy your lift tickets in advance, it sells out!), and the nature. Also I loved the feel of the cozy cabin with the high ceiling in the bedrooms and the skylights.

• We had a magnificent stay at Woodland Hideaway. The house was the perfect, tranquil retreat from long ski days at Belleayre. The kitchen was well-stocked with everything we needed for cooking....from microplane zester, to pots and pans of all sizes. There was a great desk and work space, with fast Internet, and loads of books and games, for adults, as well as kids of all ages. Our son was pretty excited by the selection of toys and books, and even step stools for him to use. Jason and Phyllis were amazing hosts....they kindly checked in on us during our stay, and were super responsive. We are already planning our next visit!

• Jason and Phyllis were so incredibly accommodating. The home was beautiful and clean- we couldn't ask for anything more. Highly recommended and would absolutely stay again.

• This is one of the loveliest airbnb experiences I've had. My boyfriend and I went with our dogs for two weeks for a writer's retreat. It was so peaceful and beautiful and we were able to get a lot of writing done. It's definitely a place I'd go to again and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for an escape.

• My husband, toddler, newborn baby, and I really enjoyed our stay at Jason and Phyllis’s newly renovated house. It was the perfect getaway from the city for a few days. Check in was smooth and they were very communicative. They gave us lots of tips for local resources. The house was cozy, comfortable, and super clean. It came stocked with everything we needed. There was lots of snow in the front yard to play in and a nice trail along an old train track to go snow shoeing just up the road. We really enjoyed coming back and warming up in front of the wood burning stove. Remember to bring some warm house slippers as the downstairs floors can be a bit cold. Otherwise everything was perfect and we would definitely recommend staying here and would visit again!

• My family has been using Pine Hollow Lodging for the past 10 years. Staying at the same property year after year, The Meadows. We have nothing but great things to say about both. Jason and Phyllis have been wonderful working with, they go to no end to make our vacations and memories unforgettable. As for the property, it is breathtaking, immaculate, and downright homey! We consider it our families second home. Our vacations to the Catskills have grown our family from one boy Kole to another boy Kyle to our little girl Kacey and can’t forget the dogs, Kody and Kane. The vacations have become the highlight of our year! Just wanted to say thank you to Pine Hollow Lodging (Jason and Phyllis) and The Meadows for providing my family with memories and experiences that we will never forget. My only issue is that I’m not able to give this review 10 stars! Cause it’s truly a PERFECT 10!!!

• Perfect location in Margarteville: super convenient to main roads yet secluded enough for privacy, peace, and quiet. Beautiful views, amazing kitchen, and the heated floors were a treat to come home to after some cold hikes. We met Phyllis in person, by chance, while looking at some properties in the area and she was incredibly warm, personable, and obviously invested in providing a great experience. Could not recommend this rental enough!

• A very rare find. New construction with modern amenities and a very short drive from skiing at Bellayre. The first floor is large and open with a spacious dining area and comfortable great room. The kitchen is well stocked with all of your needs. The bedrooms are large and nicely furnished. To top it off, you will be lulled to sleep by the babbling brook that runs behind the property. This is the perfect place to stay for both convenience and all the comforts of home.

• Just when we thought this house couldn’t get any better…  WE LOVE the upgrades.  They are beautiful!

  We enjoyed sledding down the hill, then warming up by the fire!

  We also went into town to do some shopping then came back to relax in this beautiful house!

• We really enjoyed the cabin and the land around it. We noted to the landlord that there was an odor which got stronger through the week. The other small details/suggestions are that there were very few drinking glasses, perhaps only two mason jar style glasses in addition to about 4 mugs and very little pantry space for dry goods for those staying more than a day or two. Regardless, we would happily stay again.

• Beautiful place with a wonderful view. Kitchen well stocked, everything very clean. Love the wood fireplace/stove inside and fire pit outside! Recommend!

• What a lovely space! The barn was super quiet and peaceful and we loved our stay. The place was a bit dim at night (it could use a few more lamps and a couple of bulbs were out) but really that didn’t distract much from our stay. You should be aware that the host will send you a lease agreement for the stay since you are staying at a property managed by a vacation rental company. I highly recommend staying at the great Gray barn!

• Sky View is outstanding. From the moment we drove up the driveway, we fell in love. The home is beautiful, spacious, comfortable, and sparkling clean. We enjoyed every moment at Sky View, from the hikes up the mountain to sledding down the front hill; my youngest was so thrilled to watch the deer early in the morning. Kitchen was perfect for family dinners, the fireplace warmed our boots and gloves, and the available dvd's made for some great family movie nights. Absolute perfection. • This place is LOVELY and is just atmospheric...exactly what it says on the tin: serene, lovely views all around, coolest atmosphere in the barn, lots of character - and LOTS of cleared area/land around the house for walks in the morning with your coffee. We saw deer in the yard every day, stars for miles when the sky was clear at night, and the location is a hop skip and a jump from TONS of hiking. The wifi was excellent (two of us having to do some remote work while there for the week, plus streaming Netflix/Hulu/etc with zero problem!), the kitchen was GREAT (truly - I cook a lot and always bring a few things I am used to airbnbs not having, but this kitchen had ALL THE THINGS *happy dance*). There is plenty of heat - we could make it as warm as we wanted inside in the cold November weather. The woodpile was plenty stocked and we really enjoyed using the wood stove inside for heat. We mostly did a lot of hiking and wrote/worked inside and enjoyed Netflix and the views - but there are tons of cute towns we drove through on the way to our daily hikes - would love to come back once covid is under control and explore restaurants and shops! Highly recommend this lovely place for a cozy getaway, particularly for a a couple or solo (plus a dog :).

• My family and I enjoyed our stay at Creekside — it was clean, comfortable, and convenient to outdoor activities. Jason and Phyllis were very responsive and thoughtful in their communications and had prepared useful recommendations for our stay. We would definitely stay there again!

• super quiet beautiful isolated location. feel like in the mts. cabin is roomy , well insulated , cozy fireplace, well stocked kitchen, plenty of forest to explore and nearby trails and bellyare. also clean. close to margaretville which has plenty stores. jason was responsive when we had funny smell from cooking propane running out. all in all it was a lovely stay. thank you

• Our family had a great stay at this place and Jason & Phyllis are wonderful host - they were so responsive to our questions and always easy to reach. The direction, house instruction and local tips made our stay much easier. The house is situated in a very quite private road -- it's very tranquil but the driving during snowy winter reason could be a little challenge and you definitely will want to have 4X4 to handle the snow & steep uphill.

• What an incredible lodge! We spent one week here for the holidays and it was idyllic. The rooms were spacious, the kitchen/dining/living room were perfect for entertaining, and the house had everything we needed! The views were unbelievable as well. The only thing we would recommend would be that the stove and vacuum be updated, otherwise it was perfect!

• Just returned from a week at the barn... Words don't do it justice. The views!! Hot dang wow. The interior of the barn was just great, a nice mix of modern and rustic. It's really a special place and I can not recommend it enough. The pictures just don't do this place justice. Jason and Phyllis were great, super responsive. 5/5.

• We had an incredible week at this property. In fact, our stay was so fantastic I tried to book the place for another week—but, like all amazing homes for rent, it was reserved for weeks to come. Our week was unbelievably relaxing and lovely—and Jason and Phyllis are the perfect hosts; they were over-the-top attentive to our every need, from recommendations on nearby restaurants that offered (stellar) takeout to questions about the house, while offering us the upmost privacy to enjoy family time. We will be staying here again, ASAP.

• Fantastic place, great location up a country road, nice big outdoor yard and a beautiful fireplace. Saw plenty of stars and even got a whiff of a snow day. The house is well stocked, the living room fireplace is just perfect for the upcoming winter days and there are lots of games to play! Overall had fun times, highly recommend.

• Great house and great view! We were close to lots of hiking and sites and came home at the end of the day to hang by the fire. The kitchen was fully stocked with all we needed. Our son really enjoyed the decor (carved bears), and we were grateful to have a baby gate with the house!

• The house is pretty old, but clean. It is located on a secluded road away from the highway. Lots of great hiking within a 30 min drive. Balsam mountain fire tower was our favourite hike. We had to call the hosts once with some questions and they gave us lots of recommendations.

• Our stay at this house exceeded all our expectations. It is tucked away near the end of a gravel road....we welcomed the privacy, woods, and quiet. The house is equipped with every necessity, comfortable beds, games, and has an ample library in every room. We loved the rustic charm, coupled with all the conveniences. The house is also impeccably clean...when we were looking under furniture for our son’s wandering Legos, we were surprised at how little to no dust accumulation there was. During our stay, we remotely worked and attended school, and the WiFi worked perfectly for all of us. The house is in immediate proximity to stunning, farm landscapes, as well as some great hikes. We are looking forward to our next stay!

• The barn is in a beautiful location in the Catskills. You are central to many of the best hikes and towns to explore. I highly recommend the Barn for anyone wanting to live a little bit off the grid, but still having all of the amenities.

• Just returned from a week at the barn. We had an amazing time! The pictures don't really do this place justice. A lot less rustic than we were expecting. Beautiful modern refrigerator and dishwasher. Well stocked kitchen. Awesome mountain views/stargazing on clear nights. Family of deer stopped by the field every dawn/dusk! Great location, just about 10 minutes to the supermarket (Freshtown). Jason and Phyllis were super responsive. 5/5.

• This place is perfect. Much better than the pictures. Beautiful place for the family to relax and see the mountains and play in the fall leaves. Can not recommend enough.

• Everything was very good. In fact, we were told that there was no Wi-Fi, but apparently the owner has upgraded from DSL to Wi-Fi recently. That was a significant convenience. We enjoyed our stay.

• A gorgeous property, and it's clear that a lot of thought went into making the house comfortable (minus very firm beds and 2 unexpectedly locked bedrooms). Fabulous deck. We'd love to return!

• Very nice house, easy to access but still felt very scenic and secluded. Great area to walk around in. Also, the piano and internet both worked great!

• We a absolutely loved our stay at Two Brothers Woods. Everything about the cabin was perfect for us. Super comfortable, spotlessly clean, incredible views, isolated but close to town. The kitchen has everything you need to make great meals. Really nice cookware and many spices. The house was bright and airy and the king size bed in the master bedroom was a great plus. We loved the sense of privacy, and peacefulness. Being able to bring our dogs was a huge plus for us. Phyllis and Jason really thought of every detail to make our stay comfortable. We hardly needed to bring anything except ourselves, food, and clothing. We can hardly wait to go back!

• We had such a great stay. The house was so warm and cozy, perfect size for our small group + dog. The property is beautiful with awesome views of the nearby mountains. We really enjoyed the outdoor fire pit in the evenings, as well as the indoor wood-burning stove on a few of the chillier days. We enjoyed plenty of great hikes all within easy driving distance. Such a great trip and we'd love to stay at this property again if we ever make it back to the area!

• We had a great time at Jason and Phyllis' cabin in Margaretville. It had everything we were hoping for in an escape from the city: fire pit, deck, hammock, tv, and nobody else around. There are some great hiking spots close by, and the autumn colors were brilliant.

• beautiful and quiet. the cabin is outfitted well and super cozy. a perfect getaway, as it's private and woodsy but still close to hikes, trails, stores, & restaurants. the bedrooms are a bit small but the kitchen & living area are spacious and comfy and quiet. nicely decorated too. and there's a great firepit, porch, hammock and open field to play in. loved it.

• My friends and I had the most lovely stay by the babbling brook at Brookside. Jason and Phyllis were such responsive and gracious hosts, and we would love to come back sometime soon!

• My family and I are grateful for our stay at the chipmunk cabin. It was the perfect magical, serene, quiet spot we needed away from the city in the time of Covid. The cabin was cozy but spacious enough with sweet touches throughout. The grounds were magnificent and we loved our nightly fires and star gazing. It was the country retreat we needed and close enough to the sweet town of Margaretville. Jason and Phyllis were wonderful hosts and very available if needed. We all returned to the city carrying a bit of peace with us. Thanks Jason and Phyllis!!!

• I was worried from the photos that the place might be small, but it was a great space with lots of ability to spread out. We also felt secluded and enjoyed the fire pit at night. Jason and Phyllis were super responsive and accommodating. I especially appreciated all of the amenities in the house. Lots of kitchen items, basic cooking ingredients, board games, TV channels, and more.

• Our experience was wonderful from the time we arrived through our departure. The view from the deck is spectacular, the kitchen well-appointed, and the home decorated in an outstanding manner - there was something to capture your attention wherever you looked. This destination is truly a peaceful home away from home!

• Fantastic views, the pictures don't do it justice! We had a great week-long stay and loved the change of scenery. Very clean, great layout, had everything we needed. Cell service is spotty but there was great wifi (I was able to host multiple video conferences during the work week). Would 100% return to this mountain top retreat!

• Jason and Phyllis's cabin is a lovely mountain hideaway. It truly is remote and quiet and we especially loved having campfires and grilling in the evening.

• Honestly...perfect. Great views all around from the deck. Big private space our kids could run all around outside and a big fire pit outside to have those classic fires. Space inside was well furnished and had all your basic supplies for cooking. Great spot to get away from it all including your phone!

• Everything was wonderful –– house, garden, kitchen facilities, etc. And it was also well-supplied with basics like paper products. Beyond that, there was a friendly feeling about the house. The owners did not eliminate all evidence of their personality, so it was very comfy and homey, in addition to being well-supplied and attractive. I hated to leave after a one-month stay. The broker who arranged it, Jason from Pine Hollow Lodging, was accessible and very helpful whenever I had a question.

• Great place! You'll want to spend hours just gazing at the view. Lots of space to fit a good-size group and fun touches throughout the house.

• Excellent Location and Great Stay.  The location of Two Brothers with the views was really special and exactly what we needed. The house rather well stocked and clean. The grill was fantastic and we used it a lot. One suggestion would be to have a salad spinner as all the other kitchen appliances were top of the line. The hosts were very easy to reach and acted right away. They had warned us that the dishwasher did not work and that they were trying to get it fixed but due to COVID that was hard. We washed the dishes by hand the entire week and that was fine. There was not wood for the outdoor fire but they made sure we had it the next day. The only other suggestion would be to move the big wooden bear out of the bedroom on the main floor-- it did scare my daughter. We are city folks and so this might not be an issue for people who like a hunter cabin decor. We had a wonderful and restful stay! Thank you!

• The house is delightful. Very spacious common areas and well appointed rooms. The house is very secluded and private, the garden is beautiful. Jason and Phyllis are very helpful and communicative.

• My family had a wedding at the Spillian, and when looking for a property to stay at, the Overlook Lodge was perfect for our needs. The property was absolutely beautiful. It was a log cabin with a wraparound deck that had amazing views. It was a perfect weekend. I highly recommend Jason and Phyllis, property managers at Pine Hollow Lodging Vacation Rentals for all of your vacation needs. Jason was so prompt in getting back to all of the questions the guests needed answered. I hope to stay at one of their properties again. :)

• The cabin is super comfortable and the nature around it is so beautiful. We cooked all of our meals so we really appreciated the fully equipped kitchen and grill. The fire pit was lovely too! Everything about this cabin was wonderful.

• Had a wonderful stay at Jason and Phyllis's place in the Catskills. The house is exactly as advertised. Plenty of room and a large beautiful garden for enjoyment in the summer. Very much recommend for anyone wishing to enjoy summer out of the city.

• Very private and serene setting. We enjoyed the large sunny deck and bbq grill. Great little getaway with some amazing pristine hikes in the area. We had a great time.

• We had such a wonderful week up in the Catskills. Jason and Phyllis are very responsive and want to make sure your stay is very comfortable. The house was perfect for the family - the ping pong table was an added bonus for our kids - and the deck was perfect to sit outside and enjoy the beautiful views and weather. • THIS BARN BLEW ME AWAY! I spent two full weeks at The Great Grey Barn for a private writing retreat and everything about the place was perfect and blew away my expectations. When I was looking for a secluded, private getaway I came across this location and just decided to book it and hope for the best. I wasn't quite sure what I was getting myself into. The reason for my trip was to tuck myself away in a private space to get done work on a screenplay. This was the PERFECT writing retreat. For two weeks, my dog and I woke up every morning to the beautiful skylit barn and vast views of the Catskill Mountain range. I walked down the beautiful spiral staircase, sipped on some coffee and made breakfast in the sleek, stylish and fully equipped kitchen that sits tucked away under the lofted bedroom. The deck attached to the barn is great for some outdoor dining or grilling while gazing at the beautiful landscape. At sunset, I took some logs from the fully stocked firewood shed, built a small fire at the top of the hill, away from the barn and sipped on some whiskey. When I first arrived, I wasn't quite sure that I was at the right home! The barn was larger than I expected and the amazing hosts left the outdoor lights on just in case I was arriving in the evening. Because the property is so secluded, arriving at night was pitch black and difficult to see. However, the hosts' little touches like leaving the outdoor lights on for safety and visibility made it super simple for me to get in with the lockbox and I immediately felt right at home. The place is super tidy, clean, and well equipped with everything you need. I probably stayed longer than most guests and the only downfall was that there is no washer / dryer in the unit. However, that was fully transparent before booking and I made sure to pack extra undies :) The best part about Jason & Phyllis' hospitality was when I asked if they had a clothing line in case I needed to do laundry, Jason showed up the next day with a clothing line to hang and clothing pins to make sure I was able to do laundry if the need came up! Such a nice touch of generosity and courtesy! When I was leaving this modern, yet nostalgic gem of a find... I had a hard time leaving! I felt like I was leaving a piece of myself there after two weeks of creative purging onto my keyboard. I'll definitely be back soon and can't express more how much I loved staying at this barn. This is why AirBNB exists... Finding a "home" in your stay whether it's two days or two weeks. Thank you Jason & Phyllis. I'll be back soon.

• Great remote location, cute decor, and they had everything we needed! Fully stocked kitchen with spices and all the tools, firewood, hair dryer, board games, etc. We had a blast relaxing in the yard and visiting the many trails in the area. PS - they have a full fridge/freezer now!

• The view? Awesome. The fireplace -- beautifully situated with that gorgeous view in the background. The accommodations? Comfortable! The kitchen? Pretty good. The appliances could use some upgrading. The management? Very responsive and helpful. The area around the house? Lovely! The mountain air? Priceless! The Lazy Boy reclining chairs were a lot of fun. The birds on the deck became our friends. Seriously, you are at the end of a dirt road at that top of a mountain and the house overlooks a gorgeous vista of rolling hills, soaring hawks, and flitting birds. Sitting on the deck under drifting clouds and breezy leaves was heaven. Okay so, if you need to know, here are some details that might help you plan your trip: There are indeed bugs around there, as the rental contract says, so bring repellent. We wish we had asked how to deactivate the motion sensor lighting on the side of the house so we could enjoy the outdoor fire pit while being a little less... well lit. The acreage around the house is wild, without trails, which makes for a very private setting, but is not conducive exploring the property. If you are planning to cook a lot, maybe bring that one favorite pan and excellent knife, so you can be sure you can recreate your signatures dishes. Beds were comfortable, lots of fire wood was available, the place was spotless, so really, what more can you ask? Jason was very helpful, and quick to respond and we had a great time.

• Beautiful home set in the gorgeous Catskill Mountains. Our group took advantage of the fire pit and outdoor grill, as well as a few hikes in the area. Couple things to note that may make your stay better: The internet is slow and there is no cell service at the home. If you’re planning to do any work you may need to make other plans, but if you want to get away this place is perfect! Thanks for a great stay!

• Jason and Phyllis are extremely accommodating and their lovely, spacious home was the perfect getaway for our family. The Brookside house is comfortable and tastefully decorated/furnished. The kitchen was stocked with all your basic cabinet needs. The house was also very clean and amenities were provided as described. We would definitely recommend a stay with these awesome hosts.

• Everything you could want out of a mountain getaway. The house is a beautiful log cabin at the top of a mountain (and the last house on a dead end street) that offers a ton of privacy. The kitchen was perfect, the living room was big and comfortable and the windows overlooking the mountains were massive. Probably one of the best views you could ever ask for. We had no problems whatsoever and Jason was quick to respond and very helpful during the booking process. I absolutely plan to return.

• The home is tucked away in the mountains but is still just a short drive from several communities. Exceptionally, clean and comfortable space. Highly recommend.

• What an incredible stay~ with the beautiful backdrop of the mountains and your private wooded area, you are in a remote getaway, yet close enough to a supermarket, dollar general and more. We particularly appreciated their well stocked kitchen, with all the gadgets that you need and a piano in the house! What a treat! Enjoyed walking around the grounds and waking up to that breath-taking view. Jason & Phyllis were hospitable hosts and we appreciate them letting us get away during this time.

• We came after ski season to get some outdoors for our little ones. We have two toddlers and the space was perfect for them, the loved the upstairs area and the outside amenities (trampoline and swings). My wife and I loved the set up and the fire pit which we were able to enjoy almost every night, I can't recommend this place high enough if you want to get away and unplug. Also, we have Verizon, the cell service was fine, spotty in some areas of the house but we had no trouble on phone calls.

• The view! Both the view of the mountains and the view of the forest from the kitchen are incredible. The cabin was a quiet escape from NYC for the ski at Belleayre. Hope the future guests will be as lucky as we were to see the stars and the passing deer.

• Super cozy cabin that allowed us to feel right at home after a long day out hiking in the snow! The accommodations were perfect for our two families and dog . We really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace, coffee/tea bar, and "kids' room" decorated in an adventure theme--perfect for our wekened plans. We also enjoyed the large yard. Our kids were able to explore their winter hiking equipment before hitting the trails. Easy to find, close to Margetville amenities, great jump off point for Catskill adventures. All in all, great stay, and we will recommend this place to friends!

• We had a truly great stay at The Meadows on our family ski weekend. The booking process with Pine Hollow Lodging was very easy. The house was wonderful. The view of the mountain from the porch was beautiful. The wood burning stove has a big window so you can enjoy the fire. The house was exactly as described and we had everything we needed. I would absolutely stay there again.

• Great property. Great management.  Highly recommend. The chalet is beautiful. The kitchen is amazing and well stocked with pots/pans/dishes/utensils - no need to bring anything. It’s a super quick and easy drive to Plattekill. I would recommend this primarily to nuclear family. The chalet is pretty open and sounds travel throughout. So if you’re a light sleep and skiing with friends this could be challenging. But that’s the only thing I can even be remotely critical of. The managers had every detail ironed out. It’s very professional. Awesome fireplace. Comfortable beds. I’m sure this would be even more beautiful in the summer. But we thoroughly enjoyed our winter stay and will absolutely return.

• The Meadows house is a perfect home for a ski weekend at Belleayre. The view and property are beautiful. The house was really well stocked and the layout is great. We arrived at night and all the lights had been turned on and the heat was on, which was key as it was 1F out. Jason and Phyllis were extremely proactive with information and even giving us a heads up during a weather advisory. We will be back.

• We had a great weekend skiing at Belleayre and using Overlook Lodge as a home base. The house feels like a home for sure. It has a great, comfortable living room with fireplace (with lots of firewood), and a great view during the day. Plenty of room for our eight person party to sleep comfortably as well. The labeling around the house made navigating everything much easier and was a very helpful touch. We would definitely stay again in the future on another ski trip.

The space is better in person; two true bedrooms on opposite ends of the house makes it perfect for a couples getaway. The loft up top has the best and biggest bed. We spent most of our days in the kitchen and in the living room, which both are fantastic spaces. Jason and Phyllis were so hospitable and professional; concise instructions and helpful guides. They also provide vouchers for the mountains around the area. Belleayre was just 17 minutes away and Hunter mountain about 50. If you are looking for a relaxing weekend with friends or a small family, highly recommend The Sweet Spot. We had a wonderful time - thank you Jason and Phyllis !

• Excellent, charming and clean property. It fit our 3 separate families nicely. The view and wildlife were great. Also, there was plenty of chopped firewood for the fireplace.

• Perfect in every way! Very modest looking cabin from outside is surprisingly big and spacious inside. Amazing smell of natural wood inside! 2 sauna like full bathrooms, very comfortable king beds plus 2 more singles! The house has everything you need plus complete privacy, woods, reservoir and 10 min to Belleayer! Will be back in a heartbeat!

• The Sweet Spot has all you would want and need for a weekend getaway. Simple, modern and minimalist design combined with a very functional open layout and beautiful surroundings. We spent three nights with a few couples and were able to enjoy the property during the day and appreciate the view from inside when the weather wasn’t so great. The windows and the way light fills the home are well thought out and the open kitchen and living space made it easy for our group to both cook and relax in the same area. The indoor hammock and in ground trampoline are nice additions as well. Jason and Phyllis are friendly and communicative and the house is somewhat remote but close enough to town to easily pick up supplies. Overall great stay and we will definitely return!

• Jason and Phyllis were were wonderful hosts. They made check in and check out very easy and we felt very welcomed. The downstairs bedrooms were comfortable. There was evidence of a mouse in the house but otherwise everything was pretty clean. Great kitchen. We loved the fireplace and how they thoughtfully set it up for a perfect fire ready to light. We went skiing at Plattekill and Bellayre and were well situated for both, along with vouchers from the hosts.

• Perfect get away for a couple or small family. Loved the wood stove and outdoor fire pit. We were there over New Years so not many eating establishments in open in the area but we cooked in the cabin. The kitchen had everything you would need. It was a perfect way to end a year and begin a new one. ❤️that it was dog friendly. Our golden, Max loved running in the field.

• This place was spotless! Super quiet but so close to cute little towns. When we first came in there was even a guidebook with local stores. The cabin was very close to snowboarding/skiing resorts too. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

• We enjoyed our stay at the Woodland Cabin. Jason and Phyllis were very accommodating, and the cabin fit the needs for our family well with 3 separate bedrooms. We really enjoyed being able to come back to the cabin each night and enjoy a warm fire after skiing at nearby resorts (about 15 minutes away). The setting for the cabin is great, tucked away in the trees up a small mountain road. We would definitely consider staying here again.

• Thank you for a wonderful stay at the Gray Barn. It was easy communicating with Jason throughout the rental process and stay. We loved the mountain views, peacefulness and seclusion. We appreciated that we didn't have to leave very far to explore the myriad of trails on the property and bordering lands and breathe in the essence of the woods. The Gray Barn provided for everything we needed to stay cozy and warm (loved the red wood burning stove and soft bedding). The kitchen was also well equipped for us to prepare a Thanksgiving feast that lasted all day and night. We would have extended and stayed longer, but Winter Storm Ezekiel had other plans for us - thank goodness we listened to Jason's sugesstion to escape early. Needless to say, the Gray Barn is on top of our list of places to stay should we need to R & R in the Catskills again.

• We had an amazing weekend right at the peak of fall leaves. The view was incredible, especially in the morning with the fog rolling in and out. We love this house all year round!

• We enjoyed our stay. The house feels very private and quiet. The grounds are beautiful. The views were wonderful, and the lighting inside the house was great. It's very close to a main road, and easy to find. There was a large refrigerator with a well-stocked pantry. They had a nice collection of board games and DVDs. The gas stove was a little bit tricky (we had to turn on and off the propane tank adjacent to the house, use a lighter to use the range, and light the pilot light to use the stove, which I wasn't about to figure out.) The bathtub was not hooked up when we were there, but the other shower worked well. We got a great night's sleep in the master bedroom, but the couple in the other bed said they weren't as comfortable, and that the mattress was very low to the ground.

• We stayed for a weekend wedding at nearby Stone Tavern Farm (about a 3 min drive), and really enjoyed the quiet space here. It's a cabin in the woods, so great if you like nature and want a quiet getaway space. Jason was a fantastic host - going above and beyond when the water pump unexpectedly went out when we arrived. He came to the house and checked it out immediately even though it had been working fine a few hours before, had it fixed by 8am the next day (on a weekend!), and credited part of our stay for the inconvenience. Great quiet retreat, and wonderfully attentive hosts!

• This house is amazing. It truly is a log cabin in the mountains with beautiful views and a deck to enjoy the surroundings. The decor really goes with the log cabin feel, making it warm and cozy. The bedrooms were all clean and comfortable. The large outdoor deck and seating areas were perfect for our family to share meals together. We all loved our weekend getaway at this house and would definitely stay again!

• Wonderful stay at this secluded house in the woods. It worked well to share the house with friends- plenty of common spaces for everyone. Beds were very comfortable, everything clean and useable. We would stay here again in a minute- such a beautiful spot!

• We stayed for 3 nights with our baby, toddler and in-laws. The house had a great layout. A big, beautiful kitchen, amazing views and comfortable bedrooms. We loved waking up to the mountains every morning and spent a good deal of time out on the deck. The house stayed cool in the summer heat and we hope to come back one day during ski season!

• We three couples stayed here for a weekend because it was so close to the Stone Tavern Farm where our friends' daughter was getting married. It was only 1.6 miles to the venue from here. We enjoyed the peace and quiet of this beautiful, secluded valley and the house was comfortable and homey. Jason and Phyllis were very nice and very attentive to any questions or needs we had. Our only problem was that I didn't read the driving directions carefully before looking for the house. All ended well and we all had a very pleasant stay! We had no cell service in the valley but the wifi at the house was good and allowed us to make phone calls over wifi. The house is not easy to find from the main road but if you follow the driving directions carefully you won't have any problem. Just be aware that if your GPS needs cell service in order to work you can download an off-line map (Hidden by Airbnb) Map of the area before you leave home.

• This is a great house, with a beautiful view and great deck to enjoy it from. Hosts were wonderful. The kitchen is very well equipped, there's plenty of wood for the fire pit, a bluetooth speaker, and ping pong table (there's a dart board but no darts, for safety reasons, so bring your own if you want to play). My family and I all really enjoyed our stay at this quiet, remote space. And no mosquitoes!

• Jason and Phyllis are great hosts and they would love to work with the guest schedule. I had to ask them for early check-in and late check-out. They tried their best to help! I stayed there for 4th of July long weekend and it was a great experience with local attractions and wonderful state parks and forest. This cabin is very cozy and have a decent privacy in the woods that is perfect for NYC escape. Be prepared for insects if you are visiting during summer. You would see bugs and moth just like you would expect to see in other cabins. There is no AC so it might get hot during the day but it wasn’t too bad and we had a great time there!

• Wow - what a fantastic place. My family and I spent two weeks here, escaping the heat of the city and this was a perfect location. Down off the road it was perfect with the kids (we didn't have to worry about them getting close to the road) there is a structure with swing/slide that got good use as well as a lovely lawn and a hammock in the back yard that is perfect for lounging on in the afternoon. We had few if no bugs (middle of July) and the house was perhaps the most 'homey' and comfortable AirBnB I've ever stayed in. There is no cell phone service but the internet works well. If you are staying here in the summer with kids - the Belleayre beach was a godsend - 5 minutes away, beautiful lawn, lovely beach, attentive lifeguards - really a blessing on a hot day. Hosts are helpful and responsive and welcomed us with fresh mint tea, chilled and a bottle of white wine.

• This place is a nice getaway from the city. The deck and yard are particularly nice to spend summer days in.

We rode the Delaware train ride, went to the Fleischmann's Memorial day Fair and couldn't help stopping at a few yard sales. What a beautiful time! Thank you!!

• Rose Bottom Cottage was the perfect place to unwind and slow down for a weekend. We only had 2 nights to get away but we left feeling fully recharged. The sound of the stream is so peaceful, and the private location is adjacent to a national forest, so it was beautiful and quiet and we didn’t even need to drive to go hiking. Communication and check-in and checkout were quick and easy. We had everything we needed in the kitchen, and a great collection of games and movies to choose from. Wish we had another whole week there. We just might be back! Thanks Jason and Phyllis!

• Such a peaceful find. Rustic barn with all the right amenities inside. Clean, cozy and comfy! Firepit with gorgeous rolling mountain view....perfect for smores for the kids and a glass of wine for us. Lots of space to run around. Close to cute towns and great hikes!

• This was our fifth visit to Skyview and it continues to be our favorite house in the Catskills. The main area is so elegant and spacious and the view is unparalleled. We loved getting to enjoy dinner out on the deck and welcome the summer. Jason and Phyllis were incredibly helpful as always. This time, our group was two families with small children (so four adults, a child, two toddlers, a baby, and a dog) There was room for everyone and the house suited all ages wonderfully.

• Beautiful place with a beautiful view. You can spend days in the living room, deck, and kitchen area. The deck looks out over a ridge and onto distant mountains. The swinging wooden chair is great. Views can be had from living room and kitchen as well. Comfortable beds, the upstairs loft bedroom area is really well lit and spacious. We enjoyed the cabin immensely for a weekend of relaxing, cooking and taking in fresh air/views.

• My family and I had a wonderful time staying at Jason and Phyllis’s home for the weekend and we can’t wait to return again! After a day of skiing at Belleyare, having the beautiful fireplace inside and fire pit outside was perfect to cozy around! The accommodations were comfortable and exceeded our expectations! Also great deck views!

• This is a lovely cottage. From the outside it looks quite modest and simple, but the interior is really well-designed and smartly decorated. The view of the stream from the dining table is especially charming. The kitchen is modern but with some rustic elements. The loft space off of the kitchen is essentially like a third bedroom, though it is open on to the living room and accessed by a unique ladder/stair. Although there is no WIFI, there is a good DVD collection and some fun games. There is a real sense of peace, quiet and solitude here, in spite of being close to Belleayre and many other nearby attractions. All around the house you see nature. Just a bit past the house on the same road are trails (cross country ski trails if snow covered) within the Shandaken Wild Forest.

• We had another great stay over President’s Week! The house is very comfortable for a large group, and in great location in the Catskills. We hope to visit again!

• We had a great time staying in Jason and Phyllis's place. The location is remote and the house is designed well. We were a party of 10 and had a great time. The kitchen is open and has a lot of utensils to cook with. We could have used one more restroom for the large group, but we made it work. I have stayed at a lot of airbnbs and this one does not disappoint.

There was plenty of room for everyone and our friends raved about how much they enjoyed their time there. I especially loved the personal note and welcome wine that was left for us to enjoy. • We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Jason and Phyllis's home! We were a group of 8 who wanted a weekend away from the city and we couldn't have picked a better place for our trip. The house was clean, beautiful, and offered wonderful views of the mountains. There was plenty of space for all of us and fresh sheets and towels in each room which was a nice touch. We even got to explore the land around the property on a mild day and found a small hiking trail behind the house! We cooked two big meals for our group and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, pots/pans etc. Everything about the home was lovely and we would definitely come back again! • We had a wonderful wintery stay at Jason's cabin. It's not big but well-arranged, very cozy, and comfortable. And nicely tucked away as we had hoped. Jason makes sure it has everything you need, offers clear instructions and swift responses. Make sure to come with a four-wheel drive in winter though: our front-wheel hybrid could not handle the last half mile of the journey, up the steep private road, even when it had been plowed. We ended up having to walk up and down to our car, which we didn't particularly mind, and Jason swung by to drive our groceries up to the house, on Christmas Day! All in all a great stay.

• We spent NYE here and it couldn't have been more perfect. The cabin is rustic but clean and polished, with so much character and beautiful views. Personal favorite was the window by the bed in the loft; so peaceful to wake up to. The location is great, about 10-15 mins to several small towns with enough going on for an afternoon or meal out on the town. We explored Andes, Margaretville, Arkville, Pine Hill & Roxbury all in one day. We are frequent AirBNB users as well as hosts and this place gets a 10/10 in our books.

• This was my second occasion renting from Jason and Phyllis and it was once again an enjoyable experience. The cabin is well supplied with the comforts one would want for a vacation “home away from home.”

• I thought the barn was very cute from the photos on Airbnb but wow this place is even better in person. The moment I walked in, I was blown away by how charming, beautiful, and clean this space is. The barn holds a lot of rustic charm with the large dark wood planks, spiral staircase, and wood burning stove, but it retains all the modern pleasures of a well outfitted kitchen and clean bathrooms. If you are considering staying here, do not hesitate to book it. You will have an incredible time. The hosts are extremely thoughtful with each little detail and I couldn’t have imagined a dreamier stay. I can’t wait to come back during the summer to enjoy the backyard and grill.

Seven of us went up from NYC to celebrate Thanksgiving, and we loved using the open plan kitchen and living room to cook, relax and enjoy each other's company. The house is even more spacious than it looks in the photos, and the kitchen was well-equipped for all of our elaborate Thanksgiving cooking plans. The house has a great sound system, TV with Chromecast and lots of games. The views of the snow-covered mountains out the back window are stunning. We're eager to come back again soon!

• This place was the perfect cozy cabin for my family. Since we arrived late in the day, we appreciated the little touches like leaving the lights and heat on for us and the bottle of wine. The cabin is adorable, and pictures don’t do it justice. The location is great.

• I stayed with my boyfriend and our dogs in early November. The barn is amazing and the pictures don’t do it justice. The view is spectacular and it is very private. Everything you need is provided, pots, pans, spices, baggies, wood for the wood burning stove along with fire starters, everything! Jason and Phyllis provide info on places to go and eat, and reapond quickly while giving you your space.

• We absolutely loved staying at Skyview!! It is a beautiful home and we had a wonderful time! The house is exceptionally clean and comfortable. We made good use of the fireplace on the rainy afternoon and we would definitely stay there again! Jason and Phyllis were very helpful and made wonderful recommendations.

• Really nice clean home with a fully stocked kitchen making it really easy to cook beauftul meals! The only thing I would say is that this home is not very private as it’s pretty close to the road. The kitchen does make it kind of worth the lack of total privacy though! (Great game and book selection too!)

• We had a wonderful stay at the Sky View Lodge. The place is just as, if not more, beautiful than it looks in pictures, with an extremely cozy living area, and neat and clean bedrooms. Finding the place was much easier than we initially thought, as the house was tucked away from the main road - a plus, really. Jason and Phyllis were not there to let us in but their instructions were straightforward about how to check-in. They also sent us, beforehand, plenty of other useful information related to the house and things you never know you need, until you do (like grocery stores, pharmacies, emergency room, etc). They had also conveniently set up a binder with more information about the area and a newspaper with events happening that weekend. The house itself has everything, from all the utensils and cutlery you can possibly need, some board games (which can be improved:)), some basic foods and coffee (although the grocery store is a couple of miles away and has anything you may need). The house is spacious, carefully furnished, and with a beautiful deck to sip your morning coffee on. We would definitely return. Thanks again, Jason.

• This place is wonderful... the privacy and view alone make the deal! Such a neat structure, we loved looking at the barn planks and beams and how it was converted to a home. It's cozy, well appointed, and very comfortable. The kitchen is great, all you could ask for and plenty of room to cook. It's nice that there is a half bath on the first floor for convenience and visitors. Our favorite was the location, close to town but not too close, and the adjacent woods were full of trails that we took our dog on, everybody was happy! Did I mention the view? It's spectacular. The house is in the middle of a large sloping field surrounded by woods... Layers of (Website hidden by Airbnb) neighbors visible... Beautiful and peaceful. Would definitely recommend!

• This place exceeded our expectations! We spent most of the time lounging around. The place is furnished comfortably and the view is amazing. You can't see any neighbors. There are some nice speakers you can plug your phone into and play music. The sliding glass doors, windows, and skylights let in the beautiful daylight. We enjoyed cooking in their kitchen which has everything you need! Mixing bowls, sharp knives and cutting boards, even a microplane. Everything is easy to find and put away. The place is very clean and well-maintained. The water pressure in the shower is a bit lower than we are used to but it works fine and shouldn't discourage anyone from staying here. I would recommend this place to anyone and I would definitely go back for another visit in the future.

• We had such a great Labor Day weekend at Jason and Phyllis’s place! The patio was perfect for the two dogs to hang out on while we lit the fire pit for s’mores, also the yard was nice and big for the dogs and baby to play in. The House was big and clean and stocked with plenty of games. There is a big kitchen that we took advantage of for a few meals, but the house is also near quite a few nice places to eat. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to other people looking for a quiet weekend in the Catskills.

• We arrived at the house at night and after driving through some fierce thunderstorms. We were delighted to wake up to an incredible view of clear skies and rolling trees and mountains. The house was well equipped with kitchen supplies, cooking tools, herbs and spices, and plenty of plates, glasses, and silverware. The house is dog friendly and our pups loved the house and grounds too. The fire pit provided the perfect end to our day.

• If you are group of families who are looking to have a great place to enjoy nature and as well the house - don’t bother looking further. Jason and Phyllis’s place is the one you need to book. The hosts are excellent and pretty fast in response. We have traveled there with our 11 months son and as well our friends. We had such a wonderful time; the view from the balcony (especially early in the morning) is just breathtaking. We had a great gathering and discussion around the fire pit late night. If you are a Nintendo wii and table ping pong fan, you will love the basement areat - you can even sleep there (there is a separate bedroom withing the game room). Overall the house itself exceeded our expectation and we loved the place. We will definitely come back, this time in winter. Thanks again Jason and Phyllis.

• Great even for large groups! We had 10 people and everyone was comfortable. The views were amazing and the location is very private. The description was perfect and everything was available as advertised.

• I just returned from a idyllic weekend in the Catskills with my girlfriend. The "barn" is a stylishly-appointed home with wonderful amenities, a beautiful view, and great comfort. While the building structure appears to be old, it has been lovingly updated with excellent windows allowing for a nice cross-breeze on a hot day, facilitated further by an ample supply of fans throughout the home. We felt very comfortable staying as a couple and while spacious, the place is set up for two people (the sofa bed in the living room could work in a pinch, but wouldn't be my first choice for a place to sleep). The grounds are well-groomed and balance comfort with feeling you are right in nature. The house is also well-protected from neighbors and you can't see anyone else from any part of the property. The location is also very convenient for quiet drives to Northern Catskills venues, with a good pizza restobar nearby. We also loved the hours we spent swimming in Big Pond in Andes, which is a 45-minute drive away. We would recommend this property to anyone, so long as we weren't hoping to stay the same weekend!

• The house look much better than the pictures, the land is huge and clean with plenty of outdoor space we spend most of our time outside in the hammock and by the fireplace at night, definitely recommended to anyone who love nature, and there is about a minute walk from the house to a big stream with fresh clean water to deep into and refresh.

• The house was great, with amazing views. It rained the whole visit so we didn't get to explore outside much, but the house has a great layout and was spacious and stocked with enough games and movies to keep everyone happy. Very nice kitchen set up too.

• The stay was amazing - the barn has everything one could wish for. It is very stylish, but there is also even an LTE signal (T-Mobile) as well as pretty fast Wi-Fi. We went with 2 small kids and they had a blast!

• This is a truly wonderful house. We had a perfect stay there among friends. The main living area makes it perfect to drink wine and listen to music. The kitchen is fully stocked with a table big enough for the entire group, and the view is amazing. Location wise it’s pretty remote from people - exactly what we were looking for but you can easily drive to stores or restaurants - and ski is pretty close too. Jason had nice welcome touches like warming up the house before we arrived and a (good) botttle of wine for welcoming us. We just stayed a weekend but would definitely go back for longer!

• The cabin was a wonderful place for 7 adults & 2 dogs to spend a long winter weekend. The living room space is fantastic - big windows with a great view, high ceiling and some of the most comfortable couches we've ever sat on! The kitchen is well stocked & the grocery store is only a short drive. One of the bedrooms is separate from the others in the basement which we hadn't realized when booking but this wasn't an issue for us. The only hiccup we had was not with the cabin itself but some of the communication before/after - owners called me by accident the weekend before bc they had dates switched in system, we got permission in writing to check out late but cleaners showed up early & we had to rush out of house very quickly. We would still stay here again - we had a great time! - but would just double confirm all details. Thanks Jason & Phyllis!

• The Great Gray Barn was perfect for our weekend getaway from the city. My wife and I had ski passes at Belleayre, and this property was an easy 10 min drive right down the road. We originally wanted to stay somewhere closer to the mountain, but for only 5 minutes closer, prices were double... What's 5 minutes??? Anyway, we had all the amenities we'd need. An awesome working fire stove, coffee maker, fridge for anything we bought at the nearby grocery store ("Freshtown")... Spiral staircase leading up to the bedroom loft. Everything was super clean. It snowed while we were there, which only added to the charm of the whole property. There was extra firewood under a shed connected to the house. We had a TV w/ a few cool "mountain'ish" DVD's to choose from (or we could've brought our own)... Side note: we watched "The Shining." Perfect scary movie for Catskill vacation. We dined out one night at this awesome restaurant (Peekamoose) not too far - a few miles away... The other night, we went to Freshtown and cooked in... We didn't need Jason and Phyllis at all, but didn't need to. BUT they were always just a quick phone call away if I needed them. Leading up to the weekend, they sent over a lot of great suggestions based on what I told them we were looking to do and their knowledge of the area. We will definitely be staying at either the Great Gray Barn again, or one of their other properties ("Pine Hollow Lodging")...

• Came here with the family and we had an amazing time. Has so much space. The playroom downstairs with the video games and table tennis was a awesome. The location of this was is close to ski resort and supermarket. Overall just an amazing home with beautiful views of the mountains and we can't wait to come back here again.

• Absolutely loved the cabin. We did a short weekend for my birthday and felt it wasn’t long enough. Modern amenities in a beautiful rural area. It was useful to have the TomTom navigation app which has offline maps since there isn’t any cell service around (we have AT&T). There’s WiFi at the cabin though. Highly recommend it, the hosts are so helpful in making the most of your trip whatever you want to do.

• Woodland Hideaway was the perfect cozy cabin to spend NYE out of the city! Jason and Phyllis were available over email and phone and even helped us get our car off the side of the road when we first arrived. A note to anyone renting in the winter, try your best to get there on a four-wheel drive. The cabin rests on a hill with a gorgeous view from the side of the road, but this can definitely cause an impediment on snowy roads. We loved our stay there and would love to come back!

• This is a beautiful house with everything you need. The kitchen is top notch, as are all the finishes on the house. It's a short drive away from Belleayre. It reached 0°F while we were there and the house was warm and came with plenty of fire wood. There's no wifi or cell reception, buy we saw that as a plus.

I was worried the home may be drafty or cold given the record low temps, but when we pulled up there were lights on and the heat had been turned up so it was cozy & inviting. There was wood in the fire ready to go, and the home was so lovely we didn't mind having to cancel hiking plans. The space was clean, stylish, and felt remote while still being a short drive to some great restaurants. The area is scenic, communication was quick & helpful, and we've already discussed coming back when the weather's a bit warmer.

• Had a great time over Thanksgiving weekend. The house is beautiful and very tastefully decorated. The house is actually nicer than the pictures posted on airbnb. Everything was terrific. The cabin was well appointed and clean, views were beautiful from the windows, deck and fire-pit, beds were very comfortable, nearby hiking (Dry Brook Ridge Trail) and town of Margaretville were very good too. The kids enjoyed the "Catskill Candy" shop. Jason And Phyllis were also very quick to answer questions via email and phone. Great place that I highly recommend.

Our weekend consisted of Phoenicia diner, 7 mile hike in the Catskills, Peekamoose for dinner, and visited Woodstock on Sunday. Check in is very easy. The house was very clean upon arrival. This is perfect for 4 people. The loft space would not be ideal for adults.

Andes and Bovina are close by and were great little outings. The hosts provide you with a lot of information about the house and surrounding area and respond quickly. • Sky View Lodge is simply magnificent - one of the best AirBnB places we have stayed in without a doubt. The views are amazing - one morning we awoke to see a stag peering at us from the woods ! The property is fully equipped; the kitchen in particular has everything you could ask for and the Jacuzzi bathtub was an unexpected luxury. Plus my wife was envious of the walk-in wardrobe - now she wants one ! Jason and Phyllis are excellent hosts; they provided clear directions and instructions. They also checked during our stay to ensure everything was ok which was a lovely touch - you get the feeling that they are happy to help with anything to make sure you enjoy your stay. We highly recommend the Sky View Lodge for a wonderful stay in the Catskill mountains

• The house is really lovely - the deck and yard are amazing for eating outdoors, lounging in the hammock, playing yard games and building a fire in the awesome fire pit. • The house was exactly as advertised and exactly what we were looking for - a hideaway in the woods. A very clean and well-kept house with all sorts of items that were very useful including extra director chairs for use on the deck, maps, guide books, local attractions, some tools, emergency supplies, games and walking sticks! Jason was very attentive to any questions we had and always quick to respond. If you are looking for a quiet getaway in the middle of the woods where you can sit outside on the deck and only hear natural sounds, except for the rare car passing on the road, this place is for you.

We visited in the summer and spent most of our time at a friend's house, so we did not use the house as much as we might have. But the views are special, and the surroundings are quiet.

• "We booked a fairly last minute weekend trip for the Fourth of July and stumbled upon the Great Gray Barn. It had everything we wanted- open spaces - great views - and privacy. Overall it exceeded our expectations- we truly felt like we were "away from it all" but we were also just a quick drive to a ton of cute shops, incredible hiking / mountain views, and great restaurants. It's also a quick 30-40 minute drive to a great local brewery in Westkill! The house itself is big, cozy, and very clean- and view from the back porch is spectacular! • My friends and I had an amazing time staying at this beautiful home. It's located in a private secluded area with a beautiful view. The house had everything we needed. There is a lot of space and the deck is great especially because of the view. There is also a game room. Some things to note is that the water has a foul smell because of the sulfide in the water. Also it is handy to have an axe for the outdoor fire. Overall this is a beautiful place with lots of fun activities around.

• The Roxbury Run home was beautifully maintained, and although a slightly older "suburban" home - the interior feels like a new renovation with modern open kitchen and very cozy and comfy double ht. living space with rustic stone fireplace and with wood appointments that definitely give this house a warm modern cabin feel. The outside deck is huge and nicely lit. Location has a secluded feel but not more than 10 or 15 minutes the towns of Margaretville or Fleischmanns for store. Peekamoose restaurant is just past Fleischmanns, about 20 mins from house max. We booked this house quickly for a last minute weekend getaway, so it was great - had we spent more time we would have researched and found a home a little farther from neighbors and the street so you truly feel secluded. But if you don't mind a few visible, yet private neighbors - this place is perfect for a small group.

• The house is perfect for a quiet retreat. The three bedrooms are located on the second floor next to each other. The outside pit was great for a nice fire and the grill worked well. The kitchen was stocked with all the accoutrements we needed prepare a few wonderful meals. The weather was unseasonably warm and we were able to enjoy the views from the porch. • We needed a large house for our friends and family that were attending a wedding in Roxbury. The location of this house and view of the Catskills can't be beat! The fireplace was lovely and the outdoor fire pit was great too. The decks provide an incredible view of the mountains. Outside was fantastic! The jacuzzi tub was not functional but the property manager had it repaired within 24 hours.

The gardens surrounding the house are delightful.  Sitting around the fire pit making s’mores under the stars was appreciated by young and mature alike in our party.  I would highly recommend a stay at this home for a relaxing and memorable Catskill vacation.

• Most relaxing week ever. This vacation home is gorgeous inside and out. The wooden deck out front has a view of the mountain and surrounding hillside. Inside is beautifully appointed with great room feel and cozy fireplace. Chef’s kitchen is immaculate with lots of counter space to create amazing meals together. We enjoyed sitting by the private pond and listening to the music the frogs make, while sipping a cocktail in early evening. Floral beauty is everywhere, and the weeping willow with swing is fantastic. Just minutes to Margaretville, an adorable Upstate New York town, for groceries and wine. Also a few minutes the other direction to Roxbury, a quaint main street village with great local wine store and family summer gatherings. The locals are so sweet and helpful; it’s like stepping back in time.

• This is our third year in a row staying at the Skyview Lodge. It has truly become a home away from home for us, and a place to create memories with family and friends. The lodge is beautiful! The open floor plan with cathedral ceilings and large windows create a peaceful setting with terrific views of the countryside. The kitchen is well appointed with a generous center island which is truly a focal point where we all gather around sip wine and all help prepare meals together. Whether you’re sitting out on the deck in the summertime, or curled up on the couch in front of the fireplace with a good book during the winter months, Skyview lodge will not disappoint.

• Beautiful home with amazing views.  The house was so nice and clean. We were very happy there was a dishwasher and microwave. The doors out to the deck were convenient. The views were breathtaking. We were very comfortable there. We saw that the owner has cut down some trees.

  The house would be perfect if it had more usable land and a fire pit. Also, they should trim the bushes out front because it is a beautiful stone front but you really can't see it through the bushes. We loved the convenience to Belleayre beach and Margaretville. We will definitely consider going back.

• Stunning Ski House.. Sky View if by far the nicest ski house we have ever rented. Beautiful, modern, clean and warm in every way. It is a joy to stay and one of the few places we feel at home.

• When you first see the kitchen, you think  oh, this is nice  but then you cook in there, and you say to yourself,  wow, this really WORKS.   The table set in the bay window makes for an amazing group dinner.

  The kids head up to the open loft after a long day of skiing/boarding  and a good dinner and all you hear is laughing for hours until they laugh themselves to sleep.  The entry is AMAZINGLY efficient for TONS of ski gear with endless hooks and plenty of room for boots, etc.

  The fire place is awesome, plenty of wood. The way the house is situated on the hill above the stream, over the bridge and could NOT be more charming. You really feel like you’re in a private quiet setting, however.  It’s INCREDIBLY conveniently located to Belleayre Mtn, just 5 min away and rt 28.  The no TV/Wi-Fi takes a second to adjust to, but let’s face it, it’s the only way to truly disconnect which becomes a welcome bonus.

• Where should I begin?  We had the most exceptional stay at Rose Bottom. Judging from the pictures on your website I knew I would like the house because the interior looked very appealing to me. When we arrived, the house with its style and coziness by far exceeded our expectation. Everything was so stylish and practical but yet had a cozy charm that we really felt at home.

  The kids more than once said, either curled up in front of the fireplace or enjoying a meal at the family table with the impressive views, "why can't we live here forever?"

  "The new lady of the house" took complete control of the kitchen only to find out, that I didn't have to bring my French press coffee maker - they had exactly the same. My husband enjoyed "having to provide" comfort for us by chopping enough wood for the fireplace for the evening and while indulging in an exquisite red wine talked with the children and nobody seemed to miss the "gadgets" of our time that we allow to take control of our lives leaving hardly any room for such interactions.

  Even though, our daughter fractured her wrist again snowboarding on Hunter Mountain (something that happened to her already last time we were there) it didn't seem to dampen or overshadow the most beautiful winter vacation.

  I already spread the word to friends and family about "Pine Hollow Lodging" and the friendly service with easy procedures. I wish you would operate with such properties worldwide. We will definitely come back!

• 3 couples rented this house for a 2-night, 3-day stay. The space is very impressive; modern but not stiflingly, very Scandinavian/minimal. High ceilings with exposed wood beams, a working fireplace, mid-century wooden furniture, a gigantic country-style table where we gathered for dinner and breakfast, a beautiful kitchen with a deep, wide enamel sink, gigantic range and modern chrome refrigerator.

  The master bedroom has a generously-sized bed with private bathroom with a claw-foot bathtub. The loft bedroom space was like something out of a Wes Anderson film! The house is within feet of a stream. The property has a swing and outdoor fire pit.

  I would recommend this to any large(r) party wanting a clean, relaxing and affordable getaway in the Phoenicia/Woodstock/Big Indian area. I'll also mention that Jason (who you will be in contact with about the space) was friendly, prompt and went out of his way more than once for us (once when my iPhone fizzled on the drive there, another for when a guest left a belonging behind).
