• Jason and Phyllis were great hosts, who were very communicative and helpful in advance and during our visit. Their home was clean, spacious and had everything we needed to have a peaceful vacation. A great kitchen with everything we needed to cook all of our meals, lots of comfy space to sit and chat, and a hot tub was a bonus. Whenever we had questions, Jason was really responsive. We loved our stay here!

• We absolutely LOVED this house!! Jason and Phyllis were so easy to get in contact with and went above and beyond with communication. The house, property, and amenities were fantastic. Very much looking forward to staying there again!! 

• If I could give the cottage 10 stars I would. We usually rent cabins for winter, summer and fall and of all the ones we have rented, this has been the best !! it was clean, the house was beautiful and comfortable, the kitchen had good staff and the jacuzzi was the best part ! Jason was very communicative and very kind in his instructions. I would rent it again, I wanted to extend my stay but for personal reasons I couldn't. Seriously you feel at home !!

• Our family had a wonderful weekend at Long View. The views are truly spectacular and the house is well appointed. We loved the fireplace, hot tub and proximity to Bellaeyre. And the beds! Seriously, the beds were the most comfortable we have ever slept on. We will definitely be back!

• We had a great weekend way with friends. Jason and Phyllis were very responsive and accommodating. We would love to come back for another weekend getaway.

• our stay at Long View exceeded our expectations! pictures don’t do this place enough justice. it is extremely spacious; the high ceilings, open floor plan, and large windows overlooking the mountains really make this home feel huge. not to mention the property itself, very private and tucked away from the street. our 2 dogs absolutely loved getting to play in the large backyard. we spent our time relaxing, either by the wood stove or in the hot tub enjoying the view. it was the perfect getaway to bring in the new year, we even got lucky with a little snow! has everything and more, we definitely plan to stay again on our next visit to the Catskills!

• We just returned from The Long View. We spent a few days, just before Christmas, skiing at Belleayre. We absolutely loved this Airbnb and plan to seek it out on our next trip. The house was super clean and comfortable. The view from the deck was beautiful. We hope there will be snow when we return.

• The perfect cabin for our weekend getaway. Great Mountain View’s. Great space rustic yet up to date! Jason and Phyllis made checking in and out very easy with clear instructions.

• We really enjoyed our stay here. The house was clean and updated, with everything in good working order. The views from the porch cannot be beat! I would definitely recommend staying here if you are looking for a beautiful and peaceful mountain retreat.

• Our stay was majestic, calm and peaceful. Everything we had planned for and more! We had 2 dogs with us who also enjoyed their time as well.

• The Longview Cabin provided us with a much needed relaxing getaway. The house sits on top of a hill and has amazing views from the deck and back of the house. The inside was spacious, clean and very comfortable. We stayed for over week and spent most days lounging on the deck, grilling and relaxing in the hot tub. Our dogs loved the backyard and hiking on nearby trails. On the few rainy days that we had we enjoyed curling up in the living room and watching movies by the fire. The house is off the beaten path but close enough to some great restaurants like the Woodstock Brewery, Oakley’s Pizza and Grill and the Phoenicia Diner. Jason and Phyllis were attentive with any questions that we had and were very pleasant to deal with. We will definitely be back!

• This place was beautiful and perfect for a relaxing weekend! The view is breathtaking, and I don’t think I ever got bored at looking at it. It was nice to get away from the hustle and bustle of life and just sit back and relax. Would definitely consider returning. The house was just as described, the only thing we had problems with was the coffee grinder, but that was probably operator error. Thanks for hosting us!

• Jason and Phyllis' home is beautiful! Easy to find and check in, clean and spacious. The view from the deck is gorgeous. We stayed for a long weekend and we enjoyed grilling on the deck and sitting by the firepit. We brought our dog and he had the best time running around the yard!

• Thank you very much for accommodating our stay, we had a great time. The view from the backyard is unbeatable and hearing the coyotes at night while sitting around the fire pit was an unforgettable experience. My girlfriend had the most amazing time here for her birthday. We hope to come back next year, everything was wonderful. So many activities to do in the area and beautiful sights to see. The peace and quiet of the location was exactly what we needed.

• This is our second stay at Long View. The place is just perfect and pristine. We love the peace and tranquility and the amazing views.

• We really enjoyed our stay! The house was spotless, cozy, private and has sweeping views. Really enjoyed the hot tub. Jason and Phyllis were very communicative and friendly. We felt like we were staying at a friends house and not just an Airbnb. This experience was exactly what Airbnb used to be (in a good way)! The lights and heat were on for us when we arrived at night. We got some light snow during our stay and it was plowed first thing in the AM. Plenty of dishwasher and laundry detergent, tissues everywhere, plenty of extra linens, pillows, and a well appointed kitchen (I brought my own chef's knife as another review pointed out the knives are only serrated at the house). There is a bonus lofted space above the great room/ fireplace that's not mentioned. Great cozy nook to read a book. We enjoyed it so much we extended our stay! 4 mins down the hill to downtown Fleischmans (there is a grocery store and an attached small liquor and wine store). 15 mins from Margeretville.

• This is our second year using Jason and Phyllis’s services and they continue to go above and beyond our expectations. They are so responsive to every aspect of the rental and provide exceptional accommodations. We cannot wait to book again for next winter. The property is meticulously clean and serene and we could not be more excited to spend more time and make more family memories there in the future.

It was also really nice being able to cook all of our meals in the kitchen — fully equipped and spacious. It was great to have our dog with us as well!

• This house and property are absolutely stunning. The pictures do not do it justice! We were so excited to find a property that allowed us to bring our dogs. The home was clean and was stocked with lots of info about the area and how to operate anything and everything within the home. The hot tub was clean and was on and hot when we arrived. Wood was provided for the fire pit and wood burning stove. The host communicated with us leading up to our stay to know what to expect and checked in with us during our stay to see if we needed anything. We will definitely be coming back to this property. • What a wonderful stay! The house is absolutely gorgeous and the view is amazing! We hit up a lot of hiking spots close by and enjoyed relaxing in the comfort of the house for the afternoon and evening. We had some unseasonably warm weather so we sat outside a lot and just took in the view. Bonus points for being dog friendly! Our pup had a great time hiking and romping around the yard.

• This house is absolutely gorgeous. The pictures really don’t do it justice. The view from the back deck is incredible. Huge backyard with fire pit. Hot tub for star gazing! Heaven. One note — the second bedroom has a very large (beautiful) window/skylight with no curtains so that room gets very bright as soon as the sun rises. This meant our toddler ended up having to sleep in the main bedroom with us, otherwise we all would have been up at dawn. We had a wonderful time and would definitely be back.

• Great location for exploring the Catskills. Quiet, beautiful kitchen, comfy bed, great jacuzzi, and pet friendly! The main reason to stay at the house though, was the view. It was absolutely breathtaking. We sat on the porch and just stared at it.

• The cabin and property were beautiful and great for taking a quiet moment in nature, large kitchen and dining room to boot! The property is also centrally located from a lot of the great family attractions in the area so a great “base” for small day trips, my wife and son had a great time!

• This house was stunning! So much bigger and somehow more beautiful than the pictures! The views are amazing and our dog loved running around the giant yard. We came here during the spring and it was perfect for an outdoorsy weekend where you want to come back and retreat to luxury and comfort. The location was perfect too - a coffee shop and small grocery right down the road, about 20-30 minutes from attractions like breweries and great hikes.

• My boyfriend and I rented the house for our 3-year anniversary. We had an amazing stay!! The house is extremely clean and comfortable. Being back in the city now we miss the house so much. Watching the sunset over the mountains while in the hot tub was breath taking. House is located close to many hiking trails. Phoenicia is about at 23min drive, which is where we did most of our eating. We highly recommend checking out the Phoenicia Diner. The house had so many extra touches that made the stay amazing. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND STAYING HERE!!!

• Beautiful place! Lovely views of the mountains. Short drive to hiking, fishing and some great restaurants.

• this home is beautiful! both inside and the surrounding area. had a wonderful stay and spent plenty of time star gazing in the hot tub. the hosts are extremely communicative and helpful in making sure you can locate everything you need in the home. the kitchen is very well stocked for cooking though i will note two things- ALL of the knives are serrated so if you’re planning to cook a lot probably best to bring your own. The largest pot is not very big so if your are a larger family it may make bigger meals a bit difficult.

• Our stay at the Long View cabin was nothing short of amazing! The booking process was smooth and simple. Jason provided us with all the information we needed about the cabin, local restaurants, sites to visit and emergency contacts. The cabin is gorgeous, was clean upon arrival with plenty of space for my daughter, wife, and our black lab to relax inside during the chilly days. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, the appliances were top notch, and everything worked as it should. They even left dog treats, which was a very nice surprise! The hot tub was amazing, and the property is stunning with those mountain views of Belleayre ski resort. Not one complaint. Would I book again, 1000% I would, and you should to if you're looking for that perfect mountain cabin getaway. Thanks, Jason, for letting us stay here!

• The Long View is an amazing property. The photos don't do it justice! The house is spacious and immaculately clean. The views of the surrounding mountains are beautiful. It was very quiet, secluded and private, but there is a general store just a short drive away to get supplies. Star-gazing in the hot tub was magic. Jason and Phyllis were super easy to communicate with. Can't recommend this place enough!

• The place really exceeded our expectations in so many ways! Firstly, the house is a lot bigger than it looks in the pictures, with large open areas, double and triple volume, giving a feeling of real spaciousness. Everything was clean, looked new. Fridge was empty apart from perfectly curated, not very old condiments. Cupboard too, just salt, pepper, oil, coffee, all newish. The place was wonderfully cosy and the fireplace worked fantastically. Really cannot praise this place highly enough. Couldn't think of a single negative thing to say, even if pushed. We already started to look for dates when we could visit again, but it was fully booked. Unsurprisingly!

• We had a wonderful stay at this house. Jason and Phyllis truly thought of everything to ensure that their guests have all that they need during their stay. The location is incredible. There are stunning views of the mountains from almost every single window in the house. We spent the whole day lounging on the deck and enjoyed the hot tub at night. We had one day of gross weather with freezing rain, but we still enjoyed cozying up by the fire in the well-equipped living room. We would strongly recommend this house to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in the mountains. We plan to go back as soon as possible!

The bed is massively comfortable. The kitchen has all the amenities you may need to cook a full meal. We are already planning our return.

• This place was just what we needed. We were looking for a place to relax and unplug for our first wedding anniversary in the mountains and we got it. There was great internet at the cabin, though so maybe we didn't unplug as much as we should have but it was great. Lots of wild deer and beautiful sunrises. The view was a requirement for our booking and we were not disappointed. Not terribly far from good food. Our favorite place was The Phonecian Steakhouse (about 20ish min away). We ended up visiting a few times. Clean and comfortable with everything we needed!

I loved the seclusion and relaxing on the deck each afternoon as a herd of deer came through, was serene. House had everything you would need and then some.
