The bedroom loft looks over the open living space and the modern furnishings blend in with the original barn wood, posts, and beams. The fully updated kitchen makes meals easy. Dine inside or on the back deck.

AMAZING! The best kept secret in the Catskills!! 10 minutes to Belleayre and about 15 to Plattekill for skiing and tubing! Barn was clean and so spacious! Immaculate. Despite single digit temps we were cozy and warm! Wood burning stove was an awesome additional heat source! We can't wait to return!! Jason and Phyllis were super helpful!!

The barn provided the perfect environment for a winter escape from NYC. The barn is very peaceful and quiet! Very secluded, not very many houses around. The deck offers spectacular views of the mountains.The rustic wood feel is so cozy and calming. We had the wood burning all day and night! We highly recommend this place to just get away and relax.

What a lovely gem of a house! My husband and our 3-year old son spent a weekend in November there, but despite the short days and cold weather - our stay was definitely much more pleasant by choosing to stay at Jason and Plyllis's place. It's very cosy, extremely charming and having a fireplace in November was perfect! The house was clean, instructions very precise, and we hope we can come back there in the spring.

We booked a fairly last minute weekend trip for the Fourth of July and stumbled upon the Great Gray Barn. It had everything we wanted- open spaces - great views - and privacy. Overall it exceeded our expectations- we truly felt like we were "away from it all" but we were also just a quick drive to a ton of cute shops, incredible hiking / mountain views, and great restaurants. It's also a quick 30-40 minute drive to a great local brewery in Westkill! The house itself is big, cozy, and very clean- and view from the back porch is spectacular! Jason and Phylis were extremely friendly, attentive and even went out of their way to stop by and personally assist with a request. We definitely recommend and will be staying with them again!
