• Sky view lodge is absolutely beautiful - gorgeous views in an updated log cabin. Everything was clean. We felt very comfortable in the house with seniors, and little kids. (You do need to be able to walk stairs). Lovely stay. Would recommend.

• Great house in a great location! Views are incredible. Very spacious, comfortable and clean house.

• Every ski-trip to the Catskills should be spent in a home like this. The house itself is clean, spacious, and well maintained. Waking up to a panoramic view of the snow-capped mountains really puts you in the mood to get up and get going. I think I found my favorite rental for all my Belleayre Ski Trips.

• We had an excellent thanksgiving holiday at the cabin. Views were amazing and kitchen was fully stocked for everything we needed to cook thanksgiving dinner. We were all pretty disappointed about the fireplace not working as that was a big perk and something we filtered search results by when looking for a place, but overall we had a great time. Hosts were very communicative about everything we could possibly need down to a list of local veterinarians for our dog should a need arise.

• This place is a hidden gem. Hours was spotless, smelled great, and the pictures do not do it justice. We are excited to have found a new place to escape to yearly with our family. Thanks to Jason and Phyllis.

• This was our second summer getaway at this lovely home. We love the location near the town of Margaretville but also in a private, quiet setting with beautiful views. We all “worked from home” here and also spent time hiking, exploring and relaxing on the deck. Hope to be back again!

• Our family had a wonderful time staying at the lodge. Everything was absolutely perfect. The house is equipped with everything you need, it is very comfortable and chill. The deck with that fantastic view won our hearts. The house is conveniently located just a few minutes from Margaretville shopping on Main street and close to great places to hike, the town of Andes, and all the fun and gorgeous places the Catskills offer. Jason and Phyllis are incredible hosts who are very thorough in the information about the house and the area and are available to answer questions and give suggestions. We had the most perfect time! 

• What a spectacular property! The owners were great to work with - communication was timely and did not lack detail. My party couldn't stop raving about the beautiful deck, kitchen and cathedral ceilings. As a pregnant woman the lack of air conditioning was difficult, but luckily, everyone in my party brought multiple fans to help us stay cool.

• Jason and Phyllis's Sky Hollow Lodge is very restful with beautiful view of the mountains from the large window wall and deck. Close to Andes and Margaretville. Lots of comfortable rooms. Jason and Phyllis, We appreciated all your thorough information for Sky Hollow and the area. The bottle of wine was so thoughtful. Beautiful place

• This home is a superb place to stay in The Catskills. It is exceedingly clean, modern and spacious with a gorgeous mountain view. Moreover, the hosts go the extra mile to make guests feel welcome. When we arrived, there was a bottle of wine on the table for us, clear instructions on how to use the utilities, ample supplies in the cabinets and in the refrigerator, and even a supply of books and tapes. The televisions are equipped not only with Basic Cable but also with streaming apps such as YouTube and Netflix. The wifi coverage in the home was excellent. An array of pamphlets detail places to explore in The Catskills. In addition, although nestled in the mountains surrounded by luxurious greenery, the home is only a few miles from the town of Margaretville that -- unlike some towns in The Catskills -- has a large grocery store and CVS as well as restaurants. We found the location to be exceedingly convenient as well as beautiful. In the event of any issues, the hosts are easy to reach and respond quickly. But we didn't have any. We spoke to them briefly when we arrived and then just before we left a week later. We cannot recommend this vacation rental highly enough. We honestly cannot think of anything that could have improved our stay. It was a delight.

• Very nice cabin with beautiful view. Location was great. Only docking a star because a bed broke when one of us sat on it, but I’m confident they’ll get that fixed! Also, the cabin does creak at night which kept us up a bit but certainly still charming.

• We had a great time house is super comfortable. Located short distance from town where there is a supermarket and a CVS. Night stars from deck are amazing. Trees out every window. Would definitely stay here again!

• My family and I had the most beautiful weekend at The SkyView Lodge! My children (10, 3 and 1) all loved the place and were very sad when it was time to leave. My 3yr old kept asking to go back to the "hotel". Everything was well kept , super clean and gave us the feel of being in the most luxurious cabin in the woods ever! Our only downside was that we forgot to walk with bathsoap and there was none at the house either (or we couldn't find it ) HOWEVER that was an easy fix considering there's a CVS just a few mins drive away. A definite 5 stars PLUS!

• The land where the cabin sits is lovely. The house is spacious and great deck space with a beautiful view and close to town yet was very private. Bedding and kitchen amenities are nothing fancy but all was clean and tidy enough for my last minute booking. If you want to listen to music, bring cd’s or your own player. They only have one cd (which was nice but monotonous if you’re there a few days and no way to hook up your phone to a player). They were very communicative and extremely responsive which was great. The house was warm and cozy for my arrival. Not a great driveway to manage in a surprise snowstorm though, so maybe only stay in summer! Overall decent stay. Loved the woods!

• This was a fantastic place to stay for the weekend. Close to great hikes and food options, and beautiful to just sit on the porch or in the living room and look out at the view. The process was easy and the house had all of our needs covered. Highly recommend!

• Had a great stay here over the week! House was picturesque and kitchen well stocked. Loved having high ceilings and spectacular views during daytime. No phone service but wifi. Definitely would come back, really enjoyed the stay.

• This cabin is a great value and perfect for a group wanting to cook, eat, hang and enjoy the beauty of the woods, valley and mountains. The big-island kitchen, gas fireplace, jacuzzi tub and tv with Netflix etc. make it very easy to indulge and enjoy. Jason and Phyllis were accommodating and understanding. Expect copious instructional material via email and extensive Covid warnings and extra agreements. Once you've done all that, enjoy!

• The home was lovely. Margaretville is a wonderful town located along highway 28. We had no issues during our week long stay. We would recommend the home to anyone!

• My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay here. The weather didn’t hold out much during our visit but the relaxing sound of the rain combined with the amazing view was a perfect accent to our vacation that we didn’t realize we needed. The house was beautiful and well kept. Communication was clear and very helpful. We would definitely consider visiting again in the future.

• We had a great time at Sky View Lodge. Directions and getting in the house were very clear. We had plenty of email communication, but didn't really need anything. The house was clean, the views were wonderful off the deck and main living area. The kitchen was well equipped. This was a great home base for us to do day hikes in the area, and generally explore the Catskills.

• This is a beautiful house in a stunning location. Wake up early and watch the clouds and mist over the mountains. At night, stand on the terrace and watch a meteor shower or a satellite cross the night sky. Even though the house had a few minor hiccups during our stay, Jason and Phyllis live nearby, were very attentive and helpful and fixed the issues right away. I recommend this house for a fun and relaxing vacation.

• We had a lovely stay at Sky View. The house was perfect for us, with a big deck and and a comfortable, open common space and well-equipped kitchen — perfect for cooking big dinners with our haul from the nearby farmers’ market. The views from indoors and out are gorgeous. Every clear night, we sat on the deck and saw shooting stars. Jason and Phyllis were excellent hosts, quick to communicate and very friendly, helpful, and efficient. We hope to visit again!

• This place is simply the best! The location could not get any better. The house is set overlooking the beautiful Catskills mountains. The balcony was prefect for soaking up some sun during the day or enjoying a meal outside. Close by to a little town & lots of places to swim, hike & fish. Jason & Phyllis were exceptional hosts. • This home is beautiful, well appointed and a perfect location in the West Catskills.

• What a terrific place. The view is as inspiring as it looks, especially from the wraparound deck, complete with appearances from deer, rabbits, and wild turkeys. The house is wonderful and spacious, the kitchen (and grill) is well-equipped, and the fireplace, jacuzzi tub, and piano (it's a Kawai upright!) are added touches. Jason and Phyllis were super responsive, and provide a ton of info so that arrival and check-in are a breeze. Definitely recommend.

• Great house with lots of light and space, a few minutes by car to Margaretville but very quiet.

• We had a great time at the house, very well equipped, warm and view was amazing. it was close to the village as well as the pool. It snowed almost every day so next time we have to come in a four wheel drive.

• Perfect location in Margarteville: super convenient to main roads yet secluded enough for privacy, peace, and quiet. Beautiful views, amazing kitchen, and the heated floors were a treat to come home to after some cold hikes. We met Phyllis in person, by chance, while looking at some properties in the area and she was incredibly warm, personable, and obviously invested in providing a great experience. Could not recommend this rental enough!

• We had an incredible week at this property. In fact, our stay was so fantastic I tried to book the place for another week—but, like all amazing homes for rent, it was reserved for weeks to come. Our week was unbelievably relaxing and lovely—and Jason and Phyllis are the perfect hosts; they were over-the-top attentive to our every need, from recommendations on nearby restaurants that offered (stellar) takeout to questions about the house, while offering us the upmost privacy to enjoy family time. We will be staying here again, ASAP.

• What an incredible stay~ with the beautiful backdrop of the mountains and your private wooded area, you are in a remote getaway, yet close enough to a supermarket, dollar general and more. We particularly appreciated their well stocked kitchen, with all the gadgets that you need and a piano in the house! What a treat! Enjoyed walking around the grounds and waking up to that breath-taking view. Jason & Phyllis were hospitable hosts and we appreciate them letting us get away during this time.

• We stayed for 3 nights with our baby, toddler and in-laws. The house had a great layout. A big, beautiful kitchen, amazing views and comfortable bedrooms. We loved waking up to the mountains every morning and spent a good deal of time out on the deck. The house stayed cool in the summer heat and we hope to come back one day during ski season!

• Sky View is our favorite cabin in the area and Jason & Phyllis are always so helpful and responsive.

• This was our fifth visit to Skyview and it continues to be our favorite house in the Catskills. The main area is so elegant and spacious and the view is unparalleled. We loved getting to enjoy dinner out on the deck and welcome the summer. Jason and Phyllis were incredibly helpful as always. This time, our group was two families with small children (so four adults, a child, two toddlers, a baby, and a dog) There was room for everyone and the house suited all ages wonderfully.

• This was one of our favorite Airbnbs. The house is beautiful. The kitchen is large and had everything we needed to cook Thanksgiving dinner. The fireplace made for cozy evenings in.

• We absolutely loved staying at Skyview!! It is a beautiful home and we had a wonderful time! The house is exceptionally clean and comfortable. We made good use of the fireplace on the rainy afternoon and we would definitely stay there again! Jason and Phyllis were very helpful and made wonderful recommendations.

• We had a wonderful stay at the Sky View Lodge. The place is just as, if not more, beautiful than it looks in pictures, with an extremely cozy living area, and neat and clean bedrooms. Finding the place was much easier than we initially thought, as the house was tucked away from the main road - a plus, really. Jason and Phyllis were not there to let us in but their instructions were straightforward about how to check-in. They also sent us, beforehand, plenty of other useful information related to the house and things you never know you need, until you do (like grocery stores, pharmacies, emergency room, etc). They had also conveniently set up a binder with more information about the area and a newspaper with events happening that weekend. The house itself has everything, from all the utensils and cutlery you can possibly need, some board games (which can be improved:)), some basic foods and coffee (although the grocery store is a couple of miles away and has anything you may need). The house is spacious, carefully furnished, and with a beautiful deck to sip your morning coffee on. We would definitely return. Thanks again, Jason.

• Our stay was truly AMAZING! Jason and Phyllis were awesome. They provided a ton of neighborhood information (food, activities, drinks) that was very helpful for our stay. The home was beautiful and immaculate, the location was perfect, and the views were breathtaking. Stay here. You will not regret it!

• Fabulous house with a lot to offer. My family and I were much pleased with its specious living room and coziness of an entire house. A very pretty and organized house, high quality amenities and a complete vacation package! Hosts were great! P.S Consider the fact, that this house has no AC and so avoid summer time. Unless they confirm that AC is installed.

• Absolutely loved the cabin. We did a short weekend for my birthday and felt it wasn’t long enough. Modern amenities in a beautiful rural area. It was useful to have the TomTom navigation app which has offline maps since there isn’t any cell service around (we have AT&T). There’s WiFi at the cabin though. Highly recommend it, the hosts are so helpful in making the most of your trip whatever you want to do.

• This was the second visit to Sky View for our family--two adults, a toddler, and our dog--and it was as wonderful as the first. This time we stayed in the upstairs master for the first time (we had offered it to my in-laws on our first visit.) It's just lovely, like the rest of the home. We'll definitely be back.

• Jason and Phyllis's place was amazing! We enjoyed peak fall foliage and the view from the balcony was impressive! The house is packed with everything you need to have a comfortable stay. Beds were super comfy and the shower excellent. Recommend it 100%!

• Sky View Lodge is simply magnificent - one of the best AirBnB places we have stayed in without a doubt. The views are amazing - one morning we awoke to see a stag peering at us from the woods ! The property is fully equipped; the kitchen in particular has everything you could ask for and the Jacuzzi bathtub was an unexpected luxury. Plus my wife was envious of the walk-in wardrobe - now she wants one ! Jason and Phyllis are excellent hosts; they provided clear directions and instructions. They also checked during our stay to ensure everything was ok which was a lovely touch - you get the feeling that they are happy to help with anything to make sure you enjoy your stay. We highly recommend the Sky View Lodge for a wonderful stay in the Catskill mountains

• My husband and I spent a wonderful and too-short weekend at Sky View. The view is incredible and the home itself is spacious and beautifully designed. We were visiting with our one-year-old son and were especially relieved to find it to be fairly baby-friendly: just one staircase that was easily closed off with a gate we brought along with us. The kitchen is modern, well stocked, and a joy to work in. Can't wait to come back.

• This place is amazing! The view from the balcony first thing in the morning is breathtaking. The place was clean and comfortable... with an easy to use grill and close to many Catskills highlights. We spent a wonderful 4th of July weekend there and would love to see it in all 4 seasons. The communication was great and all of the instructions were clear. Highly recommended.

• A perfect escape for a long weekend.  We always love the homes we book through Pine Hollow Lodging and the Sky View Lodge did not disappoint! The house has a great location it feels very remote yet is close to the town with fun places to check out. The home itself is beautiful and has a lot of high end finishes. The kitchen was stocked with all the accoutrements we needed prepare a few wonderful meals. The weather was unseasonably warm and we were able to enjoy the views from the porch. We loved the woodsy charm of the home but also appreciated how clean and fresh it felt.

• We had a lovely time once again at Skyview Lodge. Everything is well stocked and very clean and comfortable. My only suggestion is to have an umbrella on the deck so we could have a little shade to fully enjoy the great outdoors from the deck during all times of the day.

• This is our third year in a row staying at the Skyview Lodge. It has truly become a home away from home for us, and a place to create memories with family and friends. The lodge is beautiful! The open floor plan with cathedral ceilings and large windows create a peaceful setting with terrific views of the countryside. The kitchen is well appointed with a generous center island which is truly a focal point where we all gather around sip wine and all help prepare meals together. Whether you’re sitting out on the deck in the summertime, or curled up on the couch in front of the fireplace with a good book during the winter months, Skyview lodge will not disappoint.

• We give our stay 5 stars because the home was beautiful, clean and fully equipped with anything we needed. We loved the view and Jason was very helpful and a pleasure to work with during the whole process. Highly recommend this home for anyone looking to stay in the area!

• Stunning Ski House.. Sky View if by far the nicest ski house we have ever rented. Beautiful, modern, clean and warm in every way. It is a joy to stay and one of the few places we feel at home.

• We had an amazing 4th of July weekend at Sky View.  The house was perfect for the 3 couples and our dog. The common space and outdoor areas were great. We managed to be able to feel  together and private at the same time.  We would definitely consider coming back. In terms of outside of the house fun, we really enjoyed the Saturday night bluegrass train ride, the fair in Margaretville, and tennis up at the high school! Thanks for facilitating a wonderful 4th of July weekend for us, and we look forward to staying with you again!
